St Robert’s High School is a Christian minority school established and administered by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Darjeeling. It is affiliated to the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and the Council of Higher Secondary Education. It was founded in the year 1934.
Our founding fathers were visionary men who realized such a long time ago that education is the only way each of us could improve the quality of our lives and uplift our communities. The school was, therefore, opened with the purpose of imparting education to all who sought it regardless of affordability and also to encourage and popularize literacy. Most people and families build upon the foundation of success laid down by their older generations and St Robert’s, by imparting education to many first generation learners, has provided the first building block of success to many such families.
